This is a joint exhibition of paintings by Taiwanese master Lee Sandan and Ukrainian artist Michael Murphenko. Both artists are quite original: Lee Sandan is a Buddhist guru and Murphenko is an Englishman who adapted his original surname Murphy to conform with Ukrainian surnames that end in “enko”. They paint without mixing paints and have perfected this sophisticated style of art.

The Vijay Iyer Trio consisting of Vijay Iyer (piano), Stephan Crump (bass) and Marcus Gilmore (drums) will give a live concert of contemporary New York jazz in Kyiv. The trio has been performing jazz music for five years now. Jazz fans and critics have appreciated the work of these musicians and their last album Historicity released in 2009 proved to be a real breakthrough. At the concert in Kyiv, the audience will listen to music at the height of its popularity.
