Last week, the Embassy of the Netherlands and the European Business Association welcomed guests to the Dutch Euro Drink Party “Keep in Touch with the Dutch”. The event gathered representatives of Dutch businesses operating in Ukraine, including ING, KLM, KPMG, Ducatt, Philips, Raben, Tebodin and others and was highlighted by the presentation of the brand new edition of the Orange Directory, a definitive guide to Dutch Businesses in Ukraine.

Ambassador of the Netherlands Pieter Jan Wolthers opened the evening with the presentation reiterating once again that he would like to see Ukraine grow into a prosperous nation.

He said his country fully supports Ukraine’s intention to conclude an Association Agreement with the EU and confirmed that the Netherlands has great interest in Ukraine.
“Ukraine is one of the most promising markets,” he said, adding that it is a large country and as close to the Netherlands as Spain. In support of his words, Wolthers said at least seven Dutch trade missions will visit Ukraine this year.

EBA Executive Director Anna Derevyanko wore an orange scarf in the spirit of the national color of the Netherlands. She confirmed that the Dutch indeed have great interest in cooperating with Ukraine.
The Orange Director includes information about 118 Dutch companies that have interests in operating in Ukraine.
