Kyiv-based Antonov and Unified Aviation Building Corporation (Russia) are expected to complete creation of a joint venture by November, AN’s President and director general Dmytro Kiva told the Gazeta 2000 newspaper. He said that the creation of a joint venture is required for the co-operation in the sector of marketing, purchase of space parts, production of aircraft, its sale and servicing. The joint venture will not be a managerial structure over the aviation industries of Russia and Ukraine and the statutory fund of the enterprise is to be formed on parity basis, he said. Antonov’s chief said that the offers discussed now do not envision transfer of any material basis between Antonov and the Russian company.
