The German businesses view the agricultural machinery industry of Ukraine as interesting for investing, the Cabinet said with a reference to chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Klaus Mangold. Mangold gave this position at a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. Azarov said in his turn that he was concerned with the situation in this sector and welcomed the Germans.  Mangold said he would facilitate closer relations between Ukraine and the European Union. The Eastern Committee of the German Economy is a joint initiative of economic associations and companies of Germany. The Eastern Committee of the German Economy represents the interests of the German economy in the countries of Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and South-Eastern Europe.
