Last month, imports of long-length rolled products and profiled iron grew 47.3% or 7,570 tons compared to February 2009, to 23,570 tons, the government says. Expenditures connected with imports of long-length rolled products and profiled iron rose 70.8% or US $ 7.36 mn to US $ 17.75 mn. Russia was the main supplier of long-length rolled products and profiled iron to Ukraine in February 2010. Its share amounted to 18,410 tons or 78.1% of the total imports volume. In February, imports of long-length rolled products and profiled iron increased by 68.8% or 9,610 tons compared to January.
