In February, exports of flat rolled steel fell 10.5% or 55,840 tons over January, the Cabinet says.

Exports of flat hot-rolled steel fell 10.3% or 42,070 tons to 366,450 tons. Exports of flat cold-rolled steel decreased by 13% or 8,690 tons to 58,160 tons; exports of other flat rolled steel fell by 8.7% or 5,080 tons to 53,040 tons. In February, exports of flat rolled steel inched down by 0.8% or 3,650 tons, over the same month last year.

In January-February 2010, exports of flat rolled steel rose 9.6% or 88,910 tons compared to January-February 2009, to 1,011,060 tons for US $ 507.38 mn.
