Ukrainian government expects that the volume of fourth tranche the International Monetary Fund is to provide within the Stand-by Arrangement loan will be US $ 5 bn, first deputy head of the Presidential Administration Iryna Akimova told the press.

“This is a preliminary figure,” she said. IMF experts make their own estimations as to Ukraine´s needs of finance and pass a final decision on this matter, she said.

If parliament passes the national budget for 2010 in April the Fund may take a positive decision for the fourth tranche before June.
