About 100 drivers of Kyiv trolleybuses suspended work Monday and rallied from 5 to 10 am, a spokesman for the strike said. The strike is reported due to wage arrears and worsening of working conditions. The strikes said chiefs of the depot made other shift drivers and ones who have day-offs to replace those on strike. Kyivpastrans head Serhiy Lytvynov arrived in the depot and started talks with its participants and promised to repay wage debts soon. The employees say they plan to create an independent trade union.
